2016 Queensland Junior State Championships Wrap up

The 2016 Queensland Junior State Championships held in the Gold Coast over the past weekend proved a success with all teams recording wins in each of their respective grades. For many of the players it was their first time representing Townsville at a State Championships and they couldn't have done themselves prouder, representing the region extremely well. The Championships were also a pathway for higher honours with Queensland Country selections at stake to play against City in the curtain raisers for the Reds vs Chiefs. Congratulations to the players that were selected. For full match results and Country selections click read more.
