WELL HUNG GLASS AND ALUMINIUM 1ST GRADE COMPETITION WRAP UP

Round 12 of the first-grade competition kicked off over the weekend with some cracking Rugby on display. In the first game of the weekend the LARC’s looked to rebound from their loss in round 12 against Brothers at Iggy Park. Next up we saw JCU make the trip out to Charters Towers to hopefully get their first win of the season. And in the final game at Mike Carney Toyota Park, the Burdekin were in town after their impressive win against the LARC’s a week prior. Matching up against reigning premiers Teachers West.

 

 

2019 PRIMARY SCHOOL GALA DAY 

 

 

Today saw almost 300 Primary School Children from across Townsville and Ingham flock to Mike Carney Toyota Park for the annual Primary School Gala Day. The overall day was a great success with all teams showing great sportsmanship and playing some cracking Rugby throughout the day.

Round 12 Well Hung Glass and Aluminium 1st Grade Competition

We have another massive weekend of Well Hung First Grade action this weekend with Teachers West trying to continue their undefeated season with the only game at Mike Carney Toyota Park against Burdekin, a fresh Charters Towers coming off a bye will take a gallant JCU team out west for another Bulls home game and lastly a blockbuster encounter which will see Brothers second home game of the season at Ignatius Park College playing against a rejuvenated LARCS team. TEENAGE GIRLS 7’s TALENT CLINIC

 

Wednesday the 29th of May will see QAS coach and Reds High Performance Manager of 7s – Lachlan Parkinson travel to Townsville to run a Teenage Girls Talent Clinic. WELL HUNG GLASS AND ALUMINIUM 1ST GRADE COMPETITION WRAP UP

Round 11 of the Well Hung Glass and Aluminium 1st Grade competition saw some brilliant rugby on display from all teams. The first game of the week saw Brothers take on the Burdekin in a Friday night clash. On Saturday at the Sports Reserve JCU looked for their first win of the season against a strong North Ward side, who were full of confidence after running away with a victory against Brothers.
