Round 3 saw a determined Charters Towers side look to be the first team to knock off a rampaging Teachers West outfit down in Charters Towers. Burdekin and University clashed in a match that would see both sides look to take away their first wins of the season. GIRLS ONLY COME & TRY 7'S!!

 

When:

Sunday the 31st of March, the TDRU will be hosting a Come and Try Rugby 7’s for girls in the age groups of;  Under 14, Under 16, Under 18. This Come and Try day is to be held at Mike Carney Toyota Park. The session will be held from 9am until 1pm.

Cost:

The cost for the trial will be $10 per player.

This is a great opportunity to have some exposure to Rugby Union before the Teenage Girls Competition starts up later in the year.

WELL HUNG GLASS AND ALUMINIMUM 1st GRADE COMPETITION WRAP UP

 

 

After last weekend’s dominant win, Teachers West looked to continue this great form at their home grounds against an in form North Ward side who also look to replicate last weeks win. At Mike Carney Toyota Park both Charters Towers and Brothers looked to rebound from their week 1 losses and University made their first appearance in the 2019 competition but were set to face off against a strong Army side who are full of confidence after their first win last week in round 1.
