NORTH WARD v. LARC’s

The round 14 kicks off with North Ward taking on the LARC’s and the first game at Mike Carney Toyota Park. North Ward will be brimming with confidence after coming from behind to beat Burdekin right at the death in a thriller last week. LARC’s however, will be looking to bounce back after they played a very similar fixture but unfortunately were on the wrong end of spoon, losing to Charters Towers in the final play. This will be another tight fixture and a great way to start the weekends first grade rugby. Game kicks off at 4:20pm at Mike Carney Toyota Park

JCU v. Brothers

JCU will be looking to secure their first win of the 2019 season when they come up against a fresh Brothers outfit in the second game of the doubleheader at Mike Carney Toyota Park. JCU will be disappointed from their performances against Teachers West last week and Brothers will be looking to prove something to stay in touch with the top four. Both teams need to win games and it has the potential to go down to the wire. Kick-off is at 5:50, Mike Carney Toyota Park.

BURDEKIN v. CHARTERS TOWERS

This is set to be a cracking fixture and a big game for the fight to the final four. Charters Towers continue to improve and make second spot on the ladder theirs. Last week they fought right to the end to snatch victory from LARC’s at home in front of large crowd. Burdekin are up for another tight contest, they will need to put on a big performance to snatch a win, hopefully having the home crowd on their side might get them over the line. They showed last week moments of brilliance but unfortunately, could not contest over the full 80 and lost the match in a nail biter. Game kicks off at 6pm, Casalegno Field
