Day 1 Results (Thursday):

Game 1: North Queensland 21 DEF Wide Bay 5

  •           Solid first game together. Strung together phases well. Scored some well worked tries.
  •           Player of the match: Scrum Half – Jayvan Scarff – Brothers – Ignatius Park College

Game 2: Met East 38 DEF North Queensland 3

  •           Outplayed by a much bigger and tougher Met East side late on Day 1.
  •           Player of the match: Loose Head Prop – Jesse Reichelt – Proserpine State High School


Day 2 Results (Friday):

Game 1: North Queensland 5 DEF Met North 0

  •           Boys played outstanding in the first game of day 2 with some outstanding defence. A try to reserve back George Thomas (Calvary Christian College) the deciding factor.
  •           Player of the match: Hooker – Matthew Groves – Brothers – Ignatius Park College

Game 2: Darling Downs 38 DEF North Queensland 0

  •           Northern Boys were outplayed by a very skilful Darling Downs side who proved to be too good.
  • Player of the Match: Second Row – Dalton Cox – Burdekin Cane Toads - Burdekin Catholic High School
